I’ve been all about the wishbone accessories that have been everywhere recently. From the giant wishbone that I style in so many of my photos to the jewelry, ornaments, art, and so on. I wanted to do a really really simple project that utilized the festive and hopeful nature of the wishbone and this couldn’t come at a better time.
I’m in full swing Thanksgiving planning with my mom and my sister. We’re planning to make everything together which I think will be really fun. I love decorating the table (obviously) so I made enough wishbone napkin rings for everyone in the fam. How pretty do these look with the falling leaves napkins from Christonium?
They’re super easy, took about 30 minutes to complete and would be really fun for the kids to help out with. Using only one main supply and a couple of household items, you can be wrapping your wishes around napkins in no time.
ONE cut the block of clay into 4 equal sections. Then cut each section into three thin slices. Each slice will become one wishbone, so cut each thin slice vertically into two pieces. TWO roll out each piece until it’s between 3″ and 4″ long. THREE squeeze together two strands at one end, pinching the edges to round them off. FOUR fold over a small (1/8″) section of each end and pinch to form the flat ends of the wishbone. FIVE lay the wishbones on a log of tin foil to create the curved look. Bake at 250 for 30 minutes.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they turned out! What do you think? Simple enough, right?
Have a FESTIVE Wednesday, guys! Turkey day is in just three weeks!
